為全面提高我院研究生培養(yǎng)質(zhì)量，鼓勵(lì)研究生在國外刊物發(fā)表論文,，我院于2012年2月制定了《地球科學(xué)學(xué)院關(guān)于提高研究生招生培養(yǎng)質(zhì)量的幾項(xiàng)規(guī)定》,，提出對在國外期刊發(fā)表高水平學(xué)術(shù)論文的研究生予以獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。
2012年6月,，我院對2012屆畢業(yè)研究生實(shí)施了獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)政策,。經(jīng)過自主申報(bào)和學(xué)院審核，博09級龔承林和碩09級高平兩位同學(xué)分獲10000元和3000元獎(jiǎng)勵(lì),。
